Job summary

Personal Home Care of North Carolina (PHC) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or PCA to provide in-home care in Hickory, NC. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and support patients under RN supervision. Competitive bonuses and dedicated orientation support are offered.

The role requires CNA certification, a state-approved training program, and the ability to travel between clients. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Current CNA certification
• Prior CNA/PCA experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a national background check

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help patients with mobility and transfers
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nurse
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Document patient care and report any concerns to the nurse
