Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is expanding its caregiver family and seeking kind, compassionate CNAs and GNAs to join our team. We have provided exceptional home care for almost 30 years with support from owners, ongoing training, career growth, competitive pay, and an atmosphere of appreciation.

We are staffing a part-time caregiver role on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, totaling 12 hours per week.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Current CNA license required.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation and acceptable background check.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand care plans and assessments.
• Medical health clearance including TB test.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, transfers).
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Assist with ambulation.
• Monitor BP and glucose levels.

Looking to staff a part-time caregiver every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, for a total of 12 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification

• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance


• Must have reliable transportation


• Must have good oral and written communication skills


• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments


• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
