Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform routine resident care in a long-term care setting. You will observe resident status, provide ADL assistance, monitor vital signs, and help with meals and mobility under licensed supervision.

The role requires a NYS CNA certification and at least some long-term care experience; emphasis on safety, dignity, and compassionate patient support in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one-year long-term care experience preferred.
• NYS Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report residents' status changes and needs.
• Provide ADL assistance including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist residents with meals and supplements.
• Record intake and output and monitor vital signs.
• Move and reposition residents every 2–3 hours as needed.
• Maintain safety and comfort while delivering care under supervision.
