Job summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant III at Maine Medical Center Biddeford Family Birth Center is a full-time, day-shift role (3, 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) that supports RN-directed care and patient comfort.

You will perform a range of direct and indirect nursing tasks, maintain patient safety, document care activities, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality maternity care. BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days; CNA licensure required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CNA license required; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days.
• Minimum 30 months of professional experience; one year at SMHC required and competency in CNA II functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of nursing care under RN supervision.
• Perform a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
