• Current Certification in Patient Care required (M.A. / CNA / EMT / Paramedic / Patient Care Tech, etc.).
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate preferred.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintaining.
• Six months monitor technician experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification on hire preferred.
• EKG certification on hire preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Six months acute care hospital or physician's office experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the department and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe environment under the direction of the RN while monitoring dysrhythmia as needed.
• Assist in basic nursing care and support patient comfort and safety.
