Job summary

Oakwood Care Center in Middle River, MD is seeking a compassionate CNA-I to join our long-term care and skilled nursing family. You will provide direct resident care under licensed nurse supervision, assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and specialized support while upholding infection control and safety protocols.

We offer full-time and part-time Day, Evening, and Night shifts with competitive pay ($19.00–$23.00/hour) plus shift differentials and a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.

Qualifications

• Active CNA-I certification in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition; measure and record vital signs.

Oakwood Care Center | Middle River, MD Shift Availability:

We offer full time and part time Day (7a–3p), Evening (3p–11p), and Night (11p–7a) shifts. Available schedules may vary based on current facility needs.

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00/hour (plus shift differentials as applicable)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,500 (limited time)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Assist with toileting, continence care, and linen changes
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and mental condition
• Measure and record vital signs as instructed
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, activities, and appointments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Active CNA-I (formerly GNA) certification in good standing
• Previous experience in long-term care or senior living preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical job duties
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
