Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to support patients in Sarasota and Manatee County on a PRN basis. Shifts are 8 hours (Days); must be able to commit to 64 hours per month. You will perform personal care tasks under the Hospice Aide Plan of Care and report changes to supervising nurses.

Valid Florida CNA license required. One to three years of training/experience preferred, LTC experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CNA license or certification is required.
• One to Three Years of training/experience in a caregiving setting; long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work 8-hour day shifts (Days) and commit to PRN schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living according to the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition to nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
