Job summary

Caris Healthcare in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant / Hospice Aide to provide personal care, support patients and families, and relay observations to the hospice team in accordance with state and federal regulations.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $17.00–$19.50, benefits eligible within 60 days, mileage reimbursement, paid training, 401(k) with company match, and a culture built on integrity, accountability, and service.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide program completed with current certification.
• State regulations compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, exercise, and ambulation to patients per regulations.
• Use proper safety techniques when administering care and transferring patients.
• Take and record vital signs as instructed.
• Report changes to RN promptly.
• Prepare light meals and assist with household tasks essential to patient health.
• Maintain twelve (12) hour educational requirements.
