Job summary

Spirit Hospice of Georgia is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our locally owned team. You will work as the boots on the ground, following a patient care plan and serving as a key communicator between patients, families, and the RN Case Manager.

Qualifications

• Georgia CNA certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow a thought-out care plan for each patient and be the right hand of the RN Case Manager.
• Act as the main communicator of patient needs to the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to hospice patients.

Description:

As a Hospice Aide, you are one of the most vital pieces of the interdisciplinary team. You are the boots on the ground and the main communicator of your patient's needs. Our CNA's role is to follow a thought-out care plan for each patient, and to be the right hand of the RN Case Manager; ensuring the best care for the patient is achieved.

Position Requirements:

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Georgia
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's place of residence
• Hospice or home care experience is a plus, but kindness and reliability matter the most
