Job summary

Spirit Hospice is a locally owned company dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. We seek a Hospice Aide (CNA) to join an interdisciplinary team, following care plans and acting as the primary communicator of patient needs.

The ideal candidate holds a GA CNA license, CPR/First Aid, reliable transportation, and has a patient-first attitude. Hospice/home-care experience is a plus in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia CNA certification
• Current CPR & First Aid certification
• Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's residence
• Hospice or home care experience preferred, but kindness and reliability matter most

Responsibilities

• Follow a thought-out care plan for each patient.
• Be the right hand of the RN Case Manager to ensure the best care for the patient.
• Communicate patient needs to the care team and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Description:

As a Hospice Aide, you are one of the most vital pieces of the interdisciplinary team. You are the boots on the ground and the main communicator of your patient’s needs. Our CNA's role is to follow a thought-out care plan for each patient, and to be the right hand of the RN Case Manager; ensuring the best care for the patient is achieved.

Position Requirements:

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Georgia
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's place of residence
• Hospice or home care experience is a plus, but kindness and reliability matter the most
