Job summary

Always Family HomeCare is seeking a motivated Scheduler to help ensure high-quality home care for seniors. You will create and maintain caregiver schedules, coordinate client visits, and act as the communication link between clients, caregivers, and agency management.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to drive throughout the service area, and a CNA license with at least 3 years of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA with at least 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Homecare scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficient with ERM and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments for client visits.
• Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, location and preferences.
• Monitor daily schedules and adjust for call-offs and emergencies.
• On-call (including overnights) to handle short-notice changes.
• Communicate schedule updates to caregivers, clients and families.
• Maintain scheduling records in scheduling software and EHR systems.
• Verify caregiver credentials and work-hours limits.
• Track open shifts and arrange coverage to ensure uninterrupted care.
• Assist with onboarding schedules for new caregivers and clients.
• Respond to inquiries regarding schedules and service hours.
• Maintain a current CNA License.
• Perform Caregiver duties while on shift.

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated, empathetic Scheduler to help ensure the highest quality care for seniors in their homes! The Home Care Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining caregiver schedules, coordinating client visits, and ensuring appropriate staffing coverage. This role serves as a key communication link between clients, caregivers, and agency management while maintaining compliance with company policies and care plans. Scheduler is an active Caregiver who can also assist with shift coverage and facilitate the transition for new cases.

Job Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Licensed CNA, minimum 3 years experience as a Caregiver
  • Previous homecare scheduling experience preferred
  • Experience with ERM and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be willing and able to drive throughout the agency service area to work with Clients and Caregivers in the Client home
• Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Current CNA License
  • Current Driver's License
