Job summary

Right at Home Monterey Bay is seeking CNAs, HHAs, and Caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Join a team with 25+ years of experience, offering PPE, competitive pay, and a path to meaningful impact.

Flexible Day and Night shifts available; duties include daily living assistance, mobility support, meal prep, transportation, and companionship. CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred; High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• 1 year of experience in caregiving (Family members or professional).
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
• Willing to complete all onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will provide personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with transferring/moving clients within the home.
• No more than 20% housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care and companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• No more than 20%performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom to assist client(s)?
