Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate HHA/CNA professionals to join our home-based care team. You will provide personal care, homemaker services, and companionship to help adults stay safe and independent at home, following a nurse's plan of care.

We offer training, flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, per diem, on-call), and a supportive team aimed at your ongoing growth. Weekly pay and a mission-driven workplace are highlighted features.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience (does not have to be in home health).
• RN-led home health training: 75 hours or more, including CNA and HHA program completion; nursing student scope acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care per written plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Meal preparation and feeding; medication reminders.
• Range of motion exercises and transfers using lifting devices as directed.
• One-on-one patient care and safety at home.

Education

CNA license or completion of a CNA program

HHA certificate or completion of an HHA program

Nursing student who has completed Med‑Surg 1

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse (RN), you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA/CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

Qualifications for HHA/CNA:

• Required - one year of work experience (does not have to be in home health)
• 75 hours or more of RN led home health training including:
  • CNA license or proof of completion of a CNA program
  • HHA certificate or proof of completion of a HHA program
  • Nursing student who has completed Med‑Surg 1
