Freedom Home Care LLC is seeking Home Health Aides and CNAs to work in clients’ homes across Gainesville, following individualized care plans. You will provide compassionate, attentive care while building meaningful relationships and maintaining a healthy home environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program OR able to pass Florida competency test that we administer prior to interview.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years prior experience in senior caregiving.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance in your name.
• Proof of CPR certification (AHA) with in-person validation of skills.
• Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as transferring in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, preparing meals, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report to supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medication reminders.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
