Job summary

Visiting Angels Brighton, CO is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care in the local area. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts, including 8, 10, 12 hour options, with overnight positions and flexibility in scheduling.

The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care, assisting with medications, mobility, personal care, meals, errands, and light housekeeping, while ensuring client safety and companionship.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience.
• Background check required.
• Random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
