Job summary

Visiting Angels Brighton, CO is seeking caring Personal Care Attendants to support clients in their homes across the local area. You will help with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and companionship while following individualized care plans.

We offer training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care and flexible shifts (Full Time, Part Time, 8–12 hour options). Growth opportunities and competitive wages are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training required.
• Good time management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with light housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion and desire to brighten clients' day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity and walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Assist mobility at home and during appointments.
