Interim HealthCare of Walnut Creek is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and document patient visits.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered CNA license in CA.
• Home Care Aide registration required to provide personal care in CA.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current TB or PPD.
• Two positive references.
• Compassion, dependability, clear communication, and ability to meet physical requirements.
• Ability to complete all required background, health, and employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and skin care.
• Check and record temperature, pulse, and respirations.
• Help patients move safely with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Support daily living with meal preparation, nutrition, and a clean, safe home environment.
• Give medication reminders and perform only the tasks assigned in the care plan.
• Follow infection prevention practices and honor each patient's rights and dignity.
• Document your visits accurately and report changes in condition or safety to your supervisor.
