Job summary

Senior Helpers Central Dallas is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home personal care, helping clients stay safe and independent. You’ll match your area of expertise to each client, building trust and supporting families daily.

Ideal candidates are caring, reliable, and eager to grow professionally within the company. Part-time and full-time shifts available, with a focus on quality care and client comfort.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License.
• Current Car Insurance.
• 1 year of Agency Caregiver experience preferred and/or a CNA.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Have conversations with clients to build relationships.
• Participate in clients’ hobbies and activities.
• Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, and daily activities of living.
• Report activities completed and provide updates on clients’ condition and behavior.

Examples of Job Duties

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
