Job summary

A home care company in Little Elm is seeking a Caregiver to provide companionship and personal care to seniors. The role offers a pay rate of $13.00 to $15.00 per hour and requires at least 1 year of relevant experience. Caregivers will be responsible for meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal assistance tasks. No certification is needed to apply. Candidates should be 20 years or older and must complete background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Comfortable working with pets in the home.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, car and valid auto insurance.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Must be at least 20 years of age or older.
• Complete a criminal background check and DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, and transfers.
• Companion care: light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, laundry, medication reminders, etc.
• Provide advanced notice (2 weeks) for scheduled changes or planned time off.
