Job summary

Senior Helpers of the Palm Beaches is urgently hiring caregivers to support seniors in North Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, and West Palm Beach. If you have experience in assisted living, independent living, or home care, you could join our team.

Requirements include CNA or HHA certification, BLS/First Aid/CPR, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a caring, teachable attitude. Weekend availability is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• CNA License or HHA certification is required.
• BLS Card or First Aid and CPR Card required.
• In-Service certificates are preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs is required.
• Experience in healthcare or home care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Perform household tasks like meal prep and tidying.
• Communicate with staff and seniors to coordinate care.

Job Duties:

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
• Companionship and communicating with staff and seniors
