Job summary

Alzheimer’s Community Care in Florida is seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Specialized Alzheimer’s Day Service Center. You will help develop, implement, and facilitate therapeutic activities and provide hands-on assistance with daily living tasks for patients.

The role requires an active Florida CNA license or HHA certification, weekday hours 8 am to 5:30 pm, and the ability to pass AHCA Level II background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certification.
• Availability to work 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.
• Must pass AHCA Level II background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the SADSC.
• Provide hands-on assistance with patients' activities of daily living.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Program Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Program Assistant for our Specialized Day Center. As a Program Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and facilitation of therapeutic activities for patients in the Specialized Alzheimer’s Day Service Center, including hands-on assistance with patients' activities of daily living.

Requirements:

• Clear, active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aid (HHA) Certification
• Ability to work between 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
• Must pass AHCA level II criminal background screening and drug screening
