Job summary

Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home care for clients in West Jacksonville and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, support clients in hobbies, and document care updates to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Of 6 Months Caregiving Experience Preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Providing a helping hand to clients.
• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships.
• Participate in clients’ hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
• Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Document completed activities and report updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
