Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking caring and compassionate caregivers to provide in-home assistance to seniors in Orange Park, Oakleaf, and surrounding areas. Join a respected home care company that values respect, camaraderie, and ongoing training.

You will support clients with daily living activities, prepare meals, encourage engagement, and document updates for the care team, while enjoying flexible scheduling and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
• Current in-person CPR certification required.
• Passion for helping others and serving the community.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.
• Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse requirements.

Responsabilités

• Providing a helping hand.
• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build meaningful relationships.
• Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
• Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Document completed activities and report updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
