Position Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• A driver's license in good standing
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass criminal background and professional reference checks
• Previous home care experience is preferred
• Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Able to work short shifts
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred); Home Health Aide (required)
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with all clients, families, and the office team
• Assisting clients with adult daily living activities listed on their personalized care plan
• Personal care includes bathing, dressing, incontinent care, and feeding
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and use of lifting devices when needed
• Meal prep and light housekeeping, including laundry
• Grocery shopping/running quick local errands
• Companionship
• Promote the personal dignity of each client by ensuring privacy and treating them with respect
• One-on-one assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes
• Medication reminders
• Other essential duties are listed on the client's plan of care
