Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic and reliable CNAs or HHAs to provide in-home care across Michigan. You will assist clients with personal care, monitor health signals, and document activities while maintaining strict confidentiality and compassion.

Applicants should have CNA certification and at least one year of homecare experience. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and flexible scheduling to support caregivers and clients alike.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or competency evaluation.
• Unrestricted CNA certification and state compliance are required.
• Minimum one year of homecare CNA or HHA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services according to each client's plan of care.
• Take vital signs and document results per facility protocols.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and protect client information.
• Communicate effectively with clients and care team.
• Follow policies and procedures of CareBuilders at Home.
• Document care provided and input/output as assigned.
• Ensure client comfort, safety, and dignity during visits.
• Coordinate with supervisors for updates and escalation as needed.

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program which meets state regulations.
• Meets state specific certification requirements and possesses unrestricted certification as a CNA.
• At least one year of work experience as a CNA or HHA in a homecare setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Complies with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures.
• Complies with client facility nursing policies/procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Documents patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Follows the patient's plan of care as assigned.
• Delivers personal care services to patients as assigned.
• Takes vital signs and documents according to facility protocols.
• Records patient input and output as assigned.
