Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support the patient care team under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes direct patient care, data collection, and related clerical duties to keep department services efficient.

You will perform ROM, assist with feeding and hygiene, monitor vital signs, and prepare for tests, while maintaining safety and quality of care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CNA license issued by the Commonwealth of VA required.
AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
For Snowden at Fredericksburg CNAs, CPI required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Performs range of motion and ambulates patient.
Positions patient and provides skin care.
Assists with feeding and meal delivery.
Assists with routine hygiene and personal care.
Obtains urine, stool, sputum specimens and records vital signs.
Communicates patient status to licensed professional.
Performs incentive spirometry and oxygen setup.
Transports patient and prepares for tests.
Maintains and cleans equipment.
Performs EKGs (departmental).
