Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to document care, observe patient status, and assist under RN supervision. You will handle communications with patients and visitors, prioritize orders, and support high-volume clinical operations.

Required CA CNA certificate, recent Nursing Fundamentals coursework, and active BLS; CPI/NCI within 120 days of hire. A fast-paced environment with varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or equivalent.
• Evidence of Nursing Fundamentals completion within the last 24 months and enrollment in an RN program.
• BLS certification current and active.
• CPI or NCI certification within 120 days of hire and annual renewal.

Responsibilities

• Document all activities in accordance with policy.
• Observe patient biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and sociocultural needs.
• Perform secretarial/clerical aspects of patient care under RN supervision.
• Prioritize and process physician orders accurately and within designated time frames.
• Answer patient calls, greet and direct patients/visitors, and record messages.
