Job summary

Laurel Cove in Shoreline, WA seeks a hands-on, experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver routine daily care to guests per their care plan. You will observe, document changes, and report to nursing staff, while assisting with admissions and activities preparation.

Ideal candidates hold CNA certification (or can obtain) with at least 6 months in LTC/SNF or rehab, and possess strong communication and independent work abilities in a warm, compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold, or be able to obtain by date of hire, CNA certification.
• Minimum of six months certified nursing experience in LTC/SNF/rehab preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently or with direction.
• Create and maintain a warm, positive, calm environment on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care per the guest's care plan.
• Assist with personal needs including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Monitor and report changes in guest condition, accidents, and complaints to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate records of care, vital signs, and intake/output.
• Ensure safety through proper transfer techniques and infection control.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
