Qualifications

• Must currently hold, or be able to obtain by the date of hire, CNA certification through the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of six (6) months certified nursing experience in a LTC, SNF, or Rehabilitation setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently or with direction.
• Must be able to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, positive emphasis, and a calm environment throughout the unit/shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services according to the guest's care plan.
• Assist with all personal needs: hygiene, dressing, mobility (lifting/positioning), and nutritional support (feeding/recording intake).
• Monitor and report changes in guest condition, accidents, and complaints to the nursing staff immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, vital signs, and intake/output.
• Ensure safety by using proper transfer techniques, following infection control, and promptly answering call lights.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
