Signature HealthCARE of Rogersville, TN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and help maintain a compassionate, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff supervision.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with integrity and ability to work with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
