Job summary

Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, ID seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic resident care under licensed staff guidance. You will perform hygiene, mobility, and daily care, while documenting accurately and maintaining patient rights.

CPR certification and Idaho CNA credential are required or in progress; HS diploma or GED preferred. The role includes day, evening, and night shifts with PPE usage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho CNA certification (or enrolled in CNA program).
• CPR certification current or obtainable upon hire.
• HS diploma or GED preferred; must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous work experience in any field is preferred for verification.
• Keyboard at 20 wpm; proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Word; EMR experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic care to residents safely and timely.
• Provide personal hygiene and care (oral, hair, nail, peri care, baths).
• Assist with transfers using beds, chairs, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
• Reposition patients and assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Document care on resident records and report abnormal findings to charge nurse.
• Follow instructions from licensed staff and participate in code situations as needed.
• Maintain patient rights and professional, courteous communication.
