Job summary

Tice Valley Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA is hiring full-time CNAs for AM, PM and NOC shifts. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with a 4 days on / 2 days off rotation. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care and assist with activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Current, active California CNA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
• Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care according to each resident's individualized care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals while promoting proper nutrition and hydration.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Accurately document care provided and follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, safety, and independence at all times.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
