Job summary

Emerald Care Center Tulsa in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our Nursing team on 3p-11p shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, support mobility, monitor vital signs, and document care in electronic records.

This role requires current Oklahoma CNA certification, prior skilled nursing experience preferred, and the ability to lift and move residents. You will collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma CNA certification is required.

• Physical ability to lift/move residents and perform tasks involved in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility including transferring, positioning and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Accurately document all care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
• Report changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, meals preparation and provide companionship to enhance quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
