Job summary

A Moment's Notice Health Care in Florida is hiring compassionate, dependable home care staff to support clients in their homes. The role offers $16-18/hr based on experience and availability, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for paid training.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and following care plans established with Nursing Supervisor and family. Valid CNA license, CPR/BLS, and a Florida driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida driver's license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA license is required.
• CEUs in Alzheimer's & Dementia (2 hours) and medication administration (2 hours) are preferred.
• HIPAA and HIV/AIDS CEUs complete the compliance requirements.
• Must be able to lift, stand, walk, and assist with mobility as needed.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance required.
• English language knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per Care Plan developed with Nursing Supervisor and family.
• Document all care provided during shift.
• Assist with activities of daily living and medication reminders.
• Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients when applicable.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Adhere to policies, HIPAA rules, dress code, and schedule expectations.
• Work all assigned shifts and arrange replacements when needed.
