Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, following care plans, and promoting resident dignity and independence. Requires CNA certification and English communication; weekends/holidays rotate.

Qualifications

• CNA certification current on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry or eligible for transfer from another state.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals.
• Follow and support individualized care plans.
• Encourage resident engagement through activities and social interaction.
• Promote comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Notify nursing staff of changes in resident condition.
