Job summary

Good Samaritan in De Smet, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in our long-term care facility. Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and supporting comfort and safety.

The schedule is flex with nights and weekends; starting salary $19.00–$25.50 per hour, plus sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and shift differentials. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team.
• Ensure infection prevention and PPE protocols are followed.
• Support dining, grooming, and recreational activities as needed.
