Job summary

Waters of Sullivan is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support per each resident's care plan and supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful treatment and adherence to federal and state regulations, and company policies.

The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents' status, and maintain accurate records while ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Genuine desire to work with elders and others needing assistance.
• Mental and physical ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Record entries on flow sheets, notes and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Perform tasks per facility policies and supervisor directives.
• Prepare residents’ rooms and assist with daily activities as needed.
• Support with bathing, denture care, grooming and oral hygiene.
• Assist with dressing, hair care, nail care and mobility as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and document appropriately.
