Job summary

KARE is seeking caregivers with a valid CNA license to join the team and support residents in senior living communities. You will administer medications, assist with daily activities, and monitor residents’ well-being across various shifts.

Strong English communication is essential. This role involves ensuring safety, documenting care, and collaborating with the care team to deliver compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Requires a CNA license.
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis and assist residents needing physical help.
• Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
• May require memory care experience depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and care per the health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medications while following policies.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, activities, incidents, and observations.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, escort).
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Inform supervisor of any issues or concerns.
