Job summary

KARE in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care in our community setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and report changes to the supervisor.

You must hold an active CNA license, be able to lift at least 51 pounds, read and speak English fluently, and be willing to work with memory care residents if needed. The role offers real-time pay and flexible shifts through the KARE app.

Qualifications

• Requires CNA license.
• Able to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis and assist residents with physical needs.
• Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English; memory care experience may be required in some communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to the health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following community and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service and other tasks).
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Maintain a safe working environment through prevention of accidents and proper equipment handling.
