Job summary

Montello Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide patient and resident care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA will complete assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient, and safe care, with clear communication to patients, residents, families, and health team members.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements.
• Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the RN/LPN.
• Implements plan of care developed by the RN based on patient/resident needs.
• Provides direct patient/resident care and reports changes to RN/LPN.
• Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Documents results of patient/resident care within policies and procedures.
• Supports nutritional care and effective communication with residents and families.
