Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in De Soto, MO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support medical staff in caring for residents with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The role requires patience, compassion, and a gentle, empathetic approach to elder care.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal services, weight/skin condition monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with nurses and other staff to follow care plans.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or graduate of state-approved CNA training program with competency exam completed within 120 days of employment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication in interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to nurses and other staff as needed and perform duties as assigned.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinate dining room services, meal delivery, feeding, and document meal intake.
• Deliver nutritional supplements and document intake; monitor weight per policy.
