Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Northern Pines Care Center. You will provide direct resident care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain safety and comfort in a skilled nursing setting. The role requires awareness of elder care needs and timely reporting of changes to the shift nurse.

The position works Day/Eve/Night rotations with a 0.6 FTE, no weekend obligations, and a Union posting. Training and safety focus are emphasized along with a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtains within 4 months of hire/ transfer date.
• If transitioning from the Nursing Assistant – Student position, must have registration upon hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and support their safety and comfort.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs; report changes in resident condition to shift nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment; identify safety hazards and respond to emergencies.
