Job summary

Right at Home Northeast & Central Nebraska is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in the Norfolk, NE area. You will support daily living activities, monitor health needs, and help clients maintain independence in their homes.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, reliable transportation, and adherence to care plans, with opportunities for ongoing training and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum 6 months of CNA experience in health care (home or facilities).
Must have CPR certificate and meet home health regulatory requirements.
Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming).
Assist with ambulation, eating, and meal preparation as needed.
Take vital signs and report changes to supervising nurse.
Assist with ostomy care, dressings, and daily living device use.
Follow care plans and ensure client comfort and safety.
