Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will perform patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, while not administering medications or therapies.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent with CNA certification as required by state, and current BLS certification. Prior acute hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing experience of 2–3 years is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required by state where hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: none required; 2–3 years in acute hospital, rehab hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Do not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while delivering accommodative services.
• Support other related duties as assigned or requested.
