Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The role does not involve medication administration or independent patient care responsibility.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification as required by state, and current BLS certification. 2–3 years in a hospital or rehab setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CNA certification required by state where hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2–3 years of experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities and accommodative services under supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN/LPN.
• Does not administer medications or therapy.
• Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Duties align with PAM Health policies and procedures.
