Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with Florida laws.
- One year of long term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
- Must be CPR Certified.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting.
- Take vital signs and report observations to the nurse.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of resident rooms.
- Ensure meals are served on time and assist with feeding if needed.
- Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly and accurately.
- Perform rounds to ensure safety equipment is in place and working.
- Provide timely incontinent care and repositioning to prevent skin breakdown.
