Ochsner Lafayette General Health seeks a Nursing Assistant to assist under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, supporting the plan of care and ensuring patient safety. You will maintain a clean, safe environment and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma, CNA certification, BLS with 30 days, and CPI within 30 days, plus hospital/telemetry experience. Flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and staff.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
• Provides care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety criteria for patients.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Completes documentation of patient related tasks.
• Adapts behavior to patient population and requests permissions as needed.
