Qualifikationen

• Active, unencumbered CNA license in Virginia required.
• 1–2 years in long-term care, nursing home, or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience caring for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments required.
• CPR/BLS certification and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Apply dementia care techniques, manage behavioral changes with patience and empathy.
• Track daily routines and document changes in physical or cognitive condition.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Create a safe home environment to reduce fall risks and wandering.
• Communicate regularly with client families and nursing coordination team.
