Hospice Austin seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Clinical Services team in Spicewood, Austin, TX. Under supervision, you provide high-quality personal care, follow the patient’s Plan of Care, and support daily living activities for hospice patients.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, transfers, vital signs, documenting care, and collaborating with the RN Case Manager and team to ensure comfort and safety. A Texas CNA certification and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas CNA certification.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained prior to employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care as part of daily care.
• Support transfers, turns, and skin safety for patients.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN Case Manager.
• Document care timely and accurately per policy.
• Provide nutritional support and light housekeeping as indicated.
• Assist with medications ordinarily self-administered and reinforce teaching.
