Job summary

Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our evening team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized care to residents to promote dignity and comfort while supporting their physical and emotional well-being.

The CNA will work evenings (2:00pm–10:00pm) on an every-other-weekend schedule, with a $2.00/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Accurate and timely documentation of resident care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including personal care and assisting with ADLs as directed by licensed nurses.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care, vital signs, medications, and treatments.
• Assist with mealtime, including feeding residents when needed.
• Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
• Participate in care conferences and help develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control guidelines.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our evening team, providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents. As a valued member of our team, you will help promote dignity, comfort, and support to our residents, enabling them to reach their highest level of physical, emotional, and psychosocial functioning and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to residents, including personal care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), and medical treatments as directed by licensed nurses

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatments

• Assist with mealtime, including serving and feeding residents, as needed

• Support residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment

• Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans

• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and standards
